Its been a terrible week. It seems my head is about to explode with Test A and Essay B and family problems. So I think its wise just to take the day off. I need  a short break from the stresses of the real world. So no more work today. I my Christmas DVDs still haven't been watched. It seemes like a good idea to do that as I break from all work items.

Who is with me? Who else has the urge just to take the day off and do little as possible?

Reply to this post, and I'll tell you one reason why I like you. Then re-post this and spread the love.

Or don't repost.  Just ask me anyway.

Today my second week of classes at the university classes. And to be honest I was having trouble. And you know I noticed a thing. I give out my best effort and for some reason I just wasn't understandling the material for my Genetics course. I'm not too prideful to realize that both mentally and physically I have limitations. For whatever reasons thier are some things I can not do or have trouble with.

So today I did something I have never done before. No I didn't blackmail or bribe my professor even if that was tempting. No for the first time ever I attended a cours tutoring class. And you know what in my course lecture today while I struggled a little I felt an improvement in my understanding of the material. And so for the time being so I can do better.

Why am I telling this? Because their is no shame in admitting when you are over your head and need help in something like I learned today. And too my Biology online tutor (you know who you are), your fired:P

So a man buys this farmland and what does he decide to grow? You guessed it the man grows marrijuana in his field. Behold some police officers find this pot  and cut down all the pot plants and leave the man a note. It says, "You want this back? Call to negioate price to buy?" So the pot grower calls the person un aware its the police and negioate for a price of $200. They agree to meet at a location to exchange. And well you can guess the rest.

Ah the winter. I remember you well. I love the snow for many outdoor activites. But I did not love it last night. Despite my experence in the winter weather I lost control of my car last night. All things considered I am okay but I no longer have a rear bumper to my car. Anyone want to loan me $600? This has not been a good start to the new year.:P

One of these days I am going to remember that I need to relax my larynx before going to the annual Christmas Eve party. I laughed so hard that I can barely speak. And their are other areas of my body that ache all over. And despite all that pain I haven't had so much fun since last summer. I barely see this side of the family its always a joy to see them. As the title indicates I wish you all an enjoyable holiday that you celebrate and hope you have as much as fun as I did. I probably just should go to sleep soon. She is 20 years old but my little sister still needs to be up at 7:00 AM to unwrap presents.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In April I helped [info]falcon_horus across the street (6 points). Last Saturday I helped [info]pg15 see the light (8 points). In February I turned [info]stoicana in for running naked in the mall (3 points). In August I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). In May [info]krisse678 and I donated clothes to the needy (11 points).

Overall, I've been nice (354 points). For Christmas I deserve an XBox 360!

Sincerely,
jelgate

And here we are once again. The mid-season finale has come and gone. As a viewer we tend to expect finales and premieres to raise the bar if you. We expect them to be of higher quality. So that raises the question did Justice achieves this goal? And I say yes. It wasn't huge on action but to be quite frank SGU isn't a lot of shooting action show. It’s about the character. And I felt like the characters were raised a little bit in this episode and that was all interesting. Yes even you TJ. But as always let’s start from the beginning

Ah the day after Thanksgiving. I feel Christmas gets too commercial and even though I love the holiday I fail to recognize it until this day. Which brings me to my first tradation. Since I am the only one in the family who can comprehend the complex numbering system that came with our fake tree its alwasy falls to me to set up the tree. There we have tradation number 1.

Next one may be considered childish but I tend to watch all those old Christmas movies and special. At this moment I am watching The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen and plan to watch the Rudolph special next week among other Christmas specials.

In fact this year I have a special task to endure. Its usually my mother who bakes and frosts cookies. Unforturantly she has to go in for a surgery in a few weeks and since my dad has work (not mention be at the hospital when her surgery happens) and since my sister can't cook to save her life it falls on to me to make the Christmas cookies. Somehow I bet something will go wrong.

What I am trying to say? Well for me despite how the world changes Christmas always has and always will be about tradations. Their are certain tradations I follow and their are certain tradation my family as a whole follows. Speaking of my own personal tradations next weekend is when I do my Christmas shopping. What do you people want and for the last time cow I can not get a gold statue of PH.

More importantly what are your Christmas tradations?

It has been well established through out the show that Stargate Universe is more character then plot focused. And I think Life proves that. While not necessarily weak their wasn't a large abundance of a plot for this episode. It was more about the character in this episode and who they are. And I don't exactly expect every episode to be plot focused (and since last week was heavy on plot) I'm okay with this. The important thing is what did those character moments do. As I will illustrate more in depth with my review I think it showed some deep insight into some people and helped build some great character arcs and insight.
You should have kicked him when he was down Young )

I have a problem with my computer that is bugging me. I am far from a computer expert but I know my fair share. Yet I have tried everything I know of and I still can't fix this thing. Here is the problem. Its starts if I want to stream a video. I start watching something and after awhile and the picture becomes very slow. The sound seems unaffected. And after that happen opening any kind of program, webpage, etc. takes forever. I'm just lost at what could be the problem. Finally just for help I have no problem with watching videos in their entirity on my computer's DVD player

I'm not the biggest fan of time travel stories. Scratch that. I like time travel stories but I think they have been a little overdone in Stargate history. And despite that Time is a reason I really like Stargate Universe. I try to be critical and unbiased but I can't help it. I can't help but like the direction Stargate Universe and Time bringing. It is so thought riveting especially Time. It poked questions at the consequences of our action and without forcing it showed some crucial character foundation and development. Sure I guess it was predictable at a few places but I have yet to see a perfect episode of Stargate. Even Lost City had its flaws. But this isn't about Lost City. This is why I thought Time was a good. So without further ado let’s begin the analysis.

Classic Stargate. I've missed you )

I can't believe it but today it has been 2 years. Two years since I shed my sanity and joined GW. Funny that despite all the changes GW has undergone since I joined some things never change. We still have those passionate fans and people gunning at each others throats. It still has some great people and some I would punch in the face if I met them in real life. And yet if I had a chance I would do it all over again. GW has its fault but as I have said numerous times before it has brought me some great memories and some great people.  Here is to two more years my friends of continued enjoyment of one another and continued snarking of those poor ignorant fools.
